This is our first draft of our film poster. We sought a minimalistic font with a colour scheme of white on black to draw audience attention towards the film name. However feedback from teachers and classmates responded negativley to this poster and said that whilst it was attractive to look at it gave no information about the film and none of the actors were feautured or mentioned. Another issue our teacher had with this poster was that the background image was not our own and this may raise issues of copyright and inhibits creativity.
We decided to act on this feedback and start our film poster from scratch this time using one of our own photos that creates enigmas towards the plot of the film ( Legs standing in front of car implies prostitution ) whilst maintaining a dark colour scheme to match the typical grungy look of other British social realism film posters.
We feel that by acting upon our audience feedback it has helped us create a better more refined final product.
